Twelve clubs apply for a license for the 2025/26 TTBL season

The twelve clubs in the German Table Tennis Bundesliga (TTBL) submitted their license applications for the 2025/26 TTBL season by the deadline. There were no applications from the 2nd Bundesliga.

The current twelve first division clubs have applied for a license for the 2025/26 TTBL season in due time. No applications were received from the 2nd Bundesliga. The first stage of the licensing process for the coming season has therefore been completed. In the coming weeks, the twelve applicants will now undergo the license review process, in which the clubs' legal, personnel, administrative, infrastructural and financial criteria will be examined.

If all applicants meet the necessary requirements to participate in the game, twelve clubs will also be part of the top German table tennis league in the 2025/26 season. As no other license applications have been received in addition to the twelve current Table Tennis Bundesliga (TTBL) clubs, there will be no relegated clubs in the current 2024/25 TTBL season.
