TTF Liebherr Ochsenhausen and Head Coach Yong Fu part ways at the end of the season

Realignment of the team for the 2024/25 season

TTF Liebherr Ochsenhausen's personnel planning for the new season of the German Table Tennis League has been in full swing for some time and now a first far-reaching decision can be announced. In an intensive and honest exchange between the club management and the current head coach Yong Fu, the decision has been made to end the cooperation after the current season.

Kristijan Pejinovic, club president of TTF Liebherr Ochsenhausen:
"In an open and good discussion, we came to the decision to end our cooperation by mutual agreement at the end of the season. Our aim is to take a new sporting direction with a new coach at the start of the new season. We want to start a new chapter in the club's history. Until then, each individual in the team is expressly called upon to achieve the maximum possible. However, I am convinced that both Yong and the team will act compactly and give their all until the last match day. We wish him all the best for the future!"

Yong Fu: "Together we have decided that it is now time to go our separate ways. That's competitive sport. In the remaining six games, I will continue to do my best every day to reach the playoffs with the team after all. I hope that the clarity that now prevails will also release new energy in the boys."

Yong Fu has been part of the TTF construct since the 2015/2016 season. He initially started as a coach at the Liebherr Masters College for several years before also taking over as Head Coach for the professional team in the summer of 2020.
