TTC Zugbrücke Grenzau extends contract with Maciej Kubik

The TTC has extended Maciej Kubik's contract early until 2027. The 23-year-old Pole has been part of the team since 2022 and is set to continue playing an important role in the squad.

‘Maciej is a player who we know has what it takes to secure important victories in the Table Tennis Bundesliga,’ says TTC Chairman Olaf Gstettner. "He has proven in recent years that he can compete at the highest level. At the same time, we all know that he has even more to offer. This is exactly the path we want to continue on together – with patience, trust and a clear perspective."

For TTC manager Markus Ströher, the extension is an important sign: "We are deliberately focusing on continuity in the squad. Maciej has been an integral part of our team since 2022 and has integrated excellently, both athletically and personally. During this time, he has shown several times what he can do – especially in tight situations. The next step is now to reproduce these performances week after week and help him become even more consistent. We are convinced that this can be achieved in Grenzau. And we must not forget that, at 23, he is still a very young player whose development we want to continue to support."

‘I am very happy to have extended my contract in Grenzau,’ says Maciej Kubik. ‘The club, the fans and my teammates have a lot of faith in me. I know that I need to play more consistently and stabilise my level. I am working on that every day. I am convinced that my best table tennis is still ahead of me – and I want to show that in the Grenzau jersey.’
