TTC RhönSprudel Fulda-Maberzell signs Wong Chun Ting

TTC RhönSprudel Fulda-Maberzell can announce a spectacular new arrival for the second half of the 2022/23 season:

Wong Chun Ting from Hong Kong can be seen in the Maberzell jersey from January 2023. The 31-year-old penholder player is ranked 32nd in the world and is Hong Kong's number one. Among his greatest successes is the bronze medal at the World Cup 2016 as well as two bronze medals in mixed doubles at the World Championships in 2015 and 2017. Especially in doubles, Wong has repeatedly caused a stir in recent years. At the Asian Championships about 2 weeks ago, Wong was able to knock out world number eight Lin Yun-Ju , who was able to get both points for Neu-Ulm last Monday in the HUBTEX Arena.

"The right-handed and uncompromising attacking player is a tremendous reinforcement for us in doubles as well as in singles," TTC head coach Qing Yu Meng is pleased to say.

The contract with Quadri Aruna was terminated by mutual agreement at the turn of the year at Aruna's request. Until then, the Nigerian with Portuguese passport still wants to fully commit himself to our club.
