Transfer news at ASV Grünwettersbach
ASV Grünwettersbach announces its new signing: 21-year-old Rafael Turrini strengthens the squad as a young talent across the board.
Since ASV Grünwettersbach wanted to broaden their team, they were looking for a younger talent that can be introduced to the level of the TTBL: "With the 21-year-old Brazilian national player, who also has Italian citizenship, we have signed exactly the desired player who fits into the ASV scheme," said ASV boss Martin Werner.
"Rafa" Turrini last played in the 3rd Bundesliga for TSG Kaiserslautern, but has already been training at the international training center in Grünwettersbach (Karlsruhe Institute of Table Tennis - KITT) for three years.
"We have closely monitored "Rafa's" development and now hope that he can take the next step with us" Werner continued on the transfer.
"I am very happy to be able to take the next step in my career at ASV and promise that I will give everything to help the team with its fantastic fans," Rafael Turrini said about the transfer.
With Rafael Turrini, ASV Grünwettersbach will now start the upcoming season with five players. Further back-ups are also to be provided from the young regional league squad of the ASV with a TTBL license.
