The final curtain falls for Timo Boll on June 15: The table tennis superstar secured his place in the Liebherr TTBL Final with Borussia Düsseldorf, and now everything is ready for the big career showdown. In the Süwag Energie ARENA in Frankfurt, Boll will serve one last time in the battle for the German Team Championship and aim to secure the title in the German Table Tennis League (TTBL) for the 15th time. Numerous greats of German sport will be there, and you too can join in the excitement: tickets for the top event are available from 14 euros and can be purchased from the TTBL ticket store .

With two wins against TSV Bad Königshofen (3:1, 3:2), Borussia punched their ticket to the Liebherr TTBL final, with Boll also shining on Sunday. The 44-year-old won in singles and doubles, leading Borussia to the Liebherr TTBL final for the fifth time in a row. “I couldn't have imagined it any better,” said Boll after his final appearance at the ARAG CenterCourt in Düsseldorf and also addressed the fans: ”It was a great experience. Without you, such great moments in my career would not have been possible.”
Will Calderano and Co. crash the Boll party?
The record champions have triumphed against 1. FC Saarbrücken TT in each of the past four seasons. This time, a different rival awaits: TTF Liebherr Ochsenhausen eliminated FCS in the semi-finals with two impressive 3:0 victories and are now aiming for the double. The Swabians had already won the Liebherr Cup Final Four in January and celebrated their cup victory. This is the TTF's first appearance in the Liebherr TTBL final since losing to Saarbrücken in 2020.

Ochsenhausen will also be saying an emotional farewell at the end of the season: Hugo Calderano and Simon Gauzy, two club legends and superstars, are leaving the club in the summer. Both were part of the team that won the double in 2019 and are currently in top form. Calderano recently made history by winning the ITTF World Cup in Macau - now he wants to crash Timo Boll's farewell party with the TTF on June 15.
