Start on January 4: German Table Tennis League schedules the second round fixtures for the 2023/24 season
The German Table Tennis League (TTBL) has set the schedule for the second half of the 2023/24 season. The second half of the season kicks off with the 12th matchday on January 4, 2024, when ASV Grünwettersbach and TTC Zugbrücke Grenzau will face off. All matches will be broadcast live by TTBL media partner Dyn, and one match per matchday can also be watched live and free of charge on the Dyn YouTube channel.
After a winter break of just one week, the Table Tennis Bundesliga (TTBL) starts the second half of the season right at the beginning of the year. It starts on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 7 p.m. with the match between ASV Grünwettersbach and TTC Zugbrücke Grenzau. One day later, TSV Bad Königshofen will host SV Werder Bremen and TTC Schwalbe Bergneustadt will be away at TTC RhönSprudel Fulda-Maberzell. Both matches start at 7 pm. Due to the Liebherr Cup Final Four on January 7, 2024, the two remaining games of the 12th matchday will not be played until the following week. On Friday, January 12, 2024, Final Four participant TTF Liebherr Ochsenhausen will play Post SV Mühlhausen at home. The 12th matchday will conclude with the encounter on Saturday, January 13, 2024, when 1. FSV Mainz 05 and the other Final Four participant 1. FC Saarbrücken TT will also start the second half of the season. Both games will also kick off at 7 p.m.
All matches live on Dyn
The other match days of the second half of the season in the German Table Tennis Bundesliga (TTBL) have also already been scheduled. The main round will conclude with the 22nd matchday on April 28, 2024. Five matches will be played on each matchday in the German Table Tennis League (TTBL) and, due to the odd number of eleven clubs in the 2023/24 season, one club per matchday will always have a day off. Following the main round, the four best-placed teams of the season will play the play-off matches and determine the two participants in the Liebherr TTBL Final 2024, where the German team champion of the 2023/24 season will ultimately be crowned.
Since the 2023/24 season, the Table Tennis Bundesliga has a new media home, as all games of the Table Tennis Bundesliga (TTBL) are broadcast live exclusively by media partner Dyn, and one game per matchday, by default the Monday game, can be watched live and free of charge on the Dyn YouTube channel. Extensive highlight coverage completes the offer for all table tennis fans. By introducing regular match days with fixed times (Friday, Saturday and Monday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.), the German Table Tennis League (TTBL), together with its media partner Dyn, has also created predictability in the scheduling of matches. This gives table tennis fans the opportunity to watch all matches live and not miss a single game.
