Ricardo Walther continues winning streak

Ricardo Walther continues winning streak

He is the man of the moment: Ricardo Walther. He continued his winning streak in the Tischtennis Bundesliga (TTBL) against TTC RhönSprudel Fulda-Maberzell. Only one man was unbeatable for ASV Grünwettersbach.

Ricardo Walther has now been unbeaten in the German Table Tennis League (TTBL) for 14 matches. With 9:11, 4:11 and 9:11 he also defeated Ruwen Filus on match day 20. This put ASV Grünwettersbach on the winning track against TTC RhönSprudel Fulda-Maberzell.

Wang Xi made the most of the assist and provided the other two points. In the duel with Fan Bo Meng, emotions were running high. Meng complained about the serves of the defender, but the referees saw no reason to act. Xi was not deterred by this and defeated Meng in four sets.

Wong Chun Ting with smooth three-set win

He was the promising winter transfer of the Hessians. But so far Wong Chun Ting has not been able to meet the expectations placed in him. Against Tiago Apolonia, however, he now managed his third win. Especially in the second round, Wong gave the Portuguese no chance and pulled away from 2:2 to 11:3. He won both the first and the third round in extra time.

However, Wong did not bring the turnaround to the Hessians. Wang Xi won the duel between the two defenders against Ruwen Filus. In a match that went back and forth, Xi turned a 0:2 set deficit into a victory. Filus missed three match points in the fourth set.

The 21st match day continues on Tuesday. However, Fulda and Grünwettersbach are still free.
