Mühlhausen secures the next victory in the top class

Post SV Mühlhausen can also prevail on Saturday evening with a 3:1 victory in the Champions League. After the successful start on Wednesday in the second stage of the royal league, the Thuringians followed up on Saturday against the French club GV Hennebont and thus develop the best chances for the group victory and the associated entry into the semifinals.

In a thrilling first match, Steffen Mengel won against Denmark's Anders Lind 3:1 and thus established the lead for Post SV Mühlhausen. In the following match, Ovidiu Ionescu lost 0:3 to former Düsseldorf player Kristian Karlsson. In the following match, Daniel Habesohn managed to hold his ground against ex-Neu-Ulm player Ioannis Sgouropoulos after trailing 1:2 and restored the lead for the Thuringians. In the fourth singles match, Steffen Mengel and Kristian Karlsson made it exciting again. The 34-year-old from Post SV Mühlhausen had the longer breath and secured with a 3:2 the victory of Post SV Mühlhausen over the French club of GV Hennebont.

With two wins from two matches, Mühlhausen now still has the best chance of finishing first in the group. Already on Tuesday evening at 7:30 pm the return match against Hennebont is scheduled.
