The heart of the German Table Tennis Cup beats in southern Germany again in 2024: On January 7, the Liebherr Cup Final Four will decide which team will win the first title of the season. The venue for the Final Four tournament for the German Table Tennis Cup is the ratiopharm arena Ulm/Neu-Ulm. Advance ticket sales for the top event started today, Thursday.
The year 2024 will start with a sporting highlight: For the ninth time in a row, the Liebherr Cup Final Four will take place in the ratiopharm arena to decide which team will win the first title of the season. Thus, the multifunctional arena in Ulm/Neu-Ulm will once again be the venue for the Final Four tournament, in which the four best teams of the cup season will fight for the coveted trophy in the semifinals and final on one day.
Last year, the Liebherr Cup Final Four registered an impressive spectator record. The final tournament for the German Table Tennis Cup attracted 5,000 spectators to the ratiopharm arena, which was thus sold out. In 2024, the prestigious table tennis highlight will again be a guest in Ulm/Neu-Ulm and will offer all fans table tennis at an absolute top level on one day. The event will start on January 7, 2024 at 11 a.m. with the semifinals, which will be played in parallel on two tables as usual. Following the two semi-finals, the final will be played and thus the cup winner of the 2023/24 season will be determined. The arena will open 90 minutes before the start of the two semi-finals.

The ticket presale has started with today's Thursday. Anyone who doesn't want to miss out on this sporting highlight at the start of the year can secure tickets now. It pays to be quick: Up to and including October 29, 2023, all ticket buyers will receive a whopping early bird discount of 20 percent on all available tickets.

The way to the cup final
Which four teams will be competing for the 2024 Cup title in January will be decided in the coming weeks: In the quarterfinals, record Cup winner Borussia Düsseldorf and TSV Bad Königshofen will duel it out. The winner of this match will then face the winner of the match between ASV Grünwettersbach and Post SV Mühlhausen in the semifinals. Which clubs will fight for the title in the second semi-final at the ratiopharm arena Ulm/Neu-Ulm will be decided between TTC Zugbrücke Grenzau and TTF Liebherr Ochsenhausen and between 1. FC Saarbrücken TT and SV Werder Bremen. One thing is certain, world-class table tennis is guaranteed with numerous international top stars.
