Grenzau with strong performance in Bad Königshofen

In the last match of the first matchday of the new season, TTC Zugbrücke Grenzau went to Bad Königshofen, where they won 3-0 under the eyes of "The Voice of Table Tennis" Adam Bobrow.

After six losses in a row for TTC Zugbrücke Grenzau in Bad Königshofen, the guests wanted to break the curse and take home two points from the Shakehands Arena this time. The hosts from Bad Königshofen had to do without local hero Kilian Ort.

In the first match, the two veterans of the two teams met - Bastian Steger against Patrick Baum. This first match was over quite quickly and Patrick Baum convinced with a strong performance against 42-year-old Leitwolf from Bad Königsofen.

Zeljko and Feng provide again for pure tension in the fifth set

After Filip Zeljko won against Yi-Hsin Feng in an incredibly close match (14:12 in the fifth set) in the Shakehands Arena last season, he now wanted to give everything to repeat this result and bring his team to 1:1. The match even took a similar course and the Croatian was able to take a 2-1 lead in the meantime. But Yi-Hsin Feng held his ground and managed to win the fifth set 11:9, which was not the case last season.

In the second match still at the microphone, directly afterwards himself with racket at the table. The table tennis entertainer Adam Bobrow, who is also known as a commentator at international tournaments, competed in a show match against the exceptional talent Koharu Itagaki during the break and offered the fans a few cool rallies together.

In the following third match of the day, Maciej Kubik went to the table as the favorite against Martin Allegro and confirmed his role as favorite with a commanding 3:1 victory. With that the match was over and the guests from Grenzau could actually end the little curse in the Shakehands Arena and start the new TTBL season with two points.
