Six weeks before the official start of broadcasting, the Dyn management around Andreas Heyden (CEO), Marcel Wontorra (COO) and Christian Seifert (Founder & Partner) gives media partners an insight into the streaming platform "Dyn". On August 23, 2023, Dyn will launch with the live broadcast of the first highlight of the new handball season, the match between THW Kiel and Rhein-Neckar Löwen for the Pixum Super Cup 2023.
Dyn will be available in August via web browser, mobile devices, tablets, streaming sticks and smart TVs. Already now, fans can book a Dyn annual subscription for only 10.50 euros per month. This offer is valid until July 31, 2023. The normal annual subscription costs 12.50 euros per month and the monthly cancelable subscription is 14.50 euros.
Competent, informative, available on demand - new editorial formats entertain fans even beyond the live game.
At the start of broadcasting, Dyn's extensive live programming will include nine national men's and women's leagues in the five sports of basketball, handball, field hockey, table tennis and volleyball, as well as numerous top international competitions. In total, Dyn will broadcast over 2,000 games live in the 2023/2024 season, with all subscribers having access to all games in all sports.
The largest live offering of German top leagues on a common platform will be supplemented around the live matches by numerous editorial formats, which will be freely available on the Dyn platform and subsequently via the Dyn social media channels. For this purpose, Dyn has put together an outstanding on-air team, consisting of numerous well-known but also new names in moderation, for commentary and as experts. The formats themselves are consistently designed for flexible and mobile use on digital devices and in social media, are between 90 seconds and 20 minutes long and follow the Dyn maxim: For sports fans, by sports fans. These formats include, by way of example:
Cross-sport - "Gametime"
Athletes from all Dyn leagues show their fans up close, informative and candid about a day in their lives. Fans have not seen their top athletes in these sports any closer. Gametime airs on Thursdays and a total of 15 times per year.
Table Tennis - "Platten-Update"
Dyn table tennis expert Dennis Heinemann welcomes players and experts from the German Table Tennis League and serves fans the latest updates from the TTBL in a simple and authentic way. Plate update appears Tuesday evening.
More detailed insights into the program will be available on the website www.dynmedia.com from the beginning of August 2023 and will be regularly supplemented and updated.
10% of the net subscription revenue from Move Your Sport will be passed on to the national partner leagues, where it will be used specifically to promote young talent.
The Dyn partner leagues have committed to invest the proceeds from the Move Your Sport premium provided by Dyn in the implementation of individual youth development concepts.
"Our subscribers make an active contribution to the promotion of young sports in Germany through the Move Your Sport premium. The concepts of our partner leagues ensure that the money reaches the right place. In this way, we also fulfill our corporate mission of bringing the positive values of sport to society. After all, nothing conveys values such as fairness, team spirit, solidarity and perseverance as well as sports," says Marcel Wontorra, COO of Dyn Media.
Table tennis: Holding mini championships and activating new school cooperations are two key components of the Move Your Sports concept of the German Table Tennis League. A minimum number of youth teams and training sessions are also to be established.
