Cajasur Priego prevails in quarter-final thriller against Post SV Mühlhausen

The Spanish Real Club Cajasur Priego Tenis de Mesa defeated the German Post SV Mühlhausen in a thrilling five-game duel in the quarter-finals of the men's European Cup. Hampus Söderlund proved to be the key player for the Spanish team's success.

Álvaro Robles got the Spanish club off to a perfect start with a victory over Daniel Habesohn, and Hampus Söderlund followed with a win over Irvin Bertrand. However, Steffen Mengel turned the tide by defeating Carlos Machado.

Robles had the chance to equalize in the fourth game, but Bertrand had other plans. He equalized in a five-game duel and forced a deciding fifth game.

Söderlund fended off an energetic comeback attempt by the German team and secured a four-game victory against Habesohn, giving the Spanish team a narrow lead going into the second leg on April 27.
