ASC Grünwettersbach brings Shinozuka to Germany

ASC Grünwettersbach has lured Japanese national table tennis player Hiroto Shinozuka to the Bundesliga. The number 32 in the world rankings will play for ASC Grünwettersbach in the coming season. The 21-year-old will play alongside national player Ricardo Walther, among others.

“We are proud to welcome Hiroto Shinozuka to our team,” said ASC manager Martin Werner: ”With him, we are not only gaining an exceptional player, but also a passionate fighter who fits in perfectly with our philosophy.”

Shinozuka was one of three Japanese players to take part in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, where the Asian team only just missed out on a medal after finishing fourth.
