Andreas Levenko to leave TTF Liebherr Ochsenhausen at the end of the season
Austrian national player Andreas Levenko will take on a new challenge after the season and leave the club, having only moved to Ochsenhausen from SPG Felbermayr Wels a year ago.
For the 27-year-old, it was his first season in the Table Tennis Bundesliga (TTBL), in which he gradually got used to the pace and intensity of the competition after initial difficulties in adapting. With hard work in training and a strong mentality, he worked his way into the season and stabilised his performances, which is currently reflected in a 5:8 record. Despite this, the two parties are now going their separate ways. Levenko is looking for a new sporting challenge, while TTF is taking a different path in its squad planning.
President Kristijan Pejinovic nevertheless looks back positively on the year they spent together: "I would like to thank Andreas for his tireless and unique fighting spirit. He really always gave 100% for his team and at the table. I hope it was also a great experience for him to have played in Ochsenhausen and I wish him every success and all the best in this new chapter of his life! Our paths will certainly cross again somewhere, and until the end of the season, I wish him the strength and endurance he has shown for his team so far!"
Andreas Levenko also had some kind words to say on his departure: ‘I would like to thank all the staff at the club and the TTF fans for this great season and this great year, which has been the best of my career so far. The support has been incredible. Until the end of this season, we and I will continue to give our all to get the most out of it together.’
