Post SV Mühlhausen won 3:1 against TTC RhönSprudel Fulda-Maberzell on match day 3 of the German Table Tennis League (TTBL). Daniel Habesohn, who won two games, played a major part in the victory.
The team from Mühlhausen did not have a long breather. Only on Monday, the team had delivered a 3:1 victory against TTF Liebherr Ochsenhausen. That did not stop the team from giving 100 percent again in the match against Fulda.
Habesohn in a double pack
Daniel Habesohn had his work cut out for him and in the end he was successful twice. In the opening game, he turned around a 1-2 deficit against Ruwen Filus to win 3-2. He later sealed the win with a 3-1 victory against Fan Bo Meng. This followed on from his performance on Monday, when he won 3:1 against Can Akkuzu from Ochsenhausen.
Ionescu loses, Mengel wins
Between Habesohn, it was the turn of Ovidiu Ionescu and Steffen Mengel. Fan Bo Meng triumphed 3:1 over Ovidiu Ionescu, Steffen Mengel won 3:0 against Qing Yu Meng. The result was a 3:1 victory, which gives Post SV a further boost.
